Dimitris Charalampopoulos

Dimitris Charalampopoulos was born in Patras, Greece, in 1994. He is a director and actor. He lives and works in Athens. He studied political science and history at Panteion University, as well as acting at the Drama School of the Athens Conservatoire. He has directed the theatrical performances “Werther or I Did All I Could” (Sfendoni Theater and PLYFA, in Athens) and “MA GRAN’ MA” (Experimental Stage, National Theatre of Greece). As an actor and assistant director for the theater, he has worked with directors such as Dimitris Karantzas, Nikos Karathanos, Zoe Chatziantoniou, and Thanos Papakonstantinou. In cinema, he wrote and directed his first short, “The Longest Day of the World,” which premiered at the 47th Drama International Short Film Festival and participated in the 30th Athens International Film Festival, where it was distinguished with the Special Mention of the Jury.
