Caroline Profanter

Caroline Profanter works in the fields of electroacoustic and acousmatic music as a composer and performer. She is part of the Artistic Team of Q-O2 since 2017. Her works oscillate between fixed media pieces for multichannel sound systems, live electronics and performance with a focus on imaginary soundscapes and sonic narratives. She collaborates regularly with artists from other fields, at the crossroad between literature, film and radio art. She studied Computer Music and Electronic Media at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and holds a Master's degree in Acousmatic Composition from the Royal Conservatory of Mons.
