Asteris Tziolas
Asteris Tziolas was born in 1994 in Athens and grew up in Volos. After a few years in medical school, he decided to withdraw from his studies to enter the world of cinema and focus on film directing. In 2020, he graduated from the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos (Member of CILECT). His thesis film, “When Night Lost,” premiered at the 27th Sarajevo Film Festival. The following year, he was selected at the 16th edition of “Talents Sarajevo” (Directors Summit).
His film, “The First Setting Sun of Summer,” was awarded at the 46th Drama International Short Film Festival with the Special Jury Award and the Award from the Greek Society of Cinematographers.
