Alexandra Tzilivaki

PhD Fellow at Einstein Center for Neurosciences – Charite Medical School Berlin

Alexandra Tzilivaki is a PhD Fellow at Einstein Center for Neurosciences – Charite Medical School Berlin. She received her BSc and MSc Degrees (with honors) in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Crete. She is also a Research Associate at the Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas. Her main research aims to unravel how dendrites process synaptic information and shape the neurons computations in health and disease. Towards that goal she utilizes experimental and computational modelling approaches. Her so far research has been published in scientific journal and conferences. Her research has been supported, among others, by Onassis Foundation and Google based on academic excellence.
