Alexander Skancke

Alexander Skancke is a Berlin-based DJ and producer originally from Norway and a distinct voice in the international underground. Active since 2006, he has released more than 30 records and performed worldwide, earning recognition for his originality, dedication, and narrative-driven DJ sets.

His years at Berlin’s iconic Bikini Waxx Records sharpened his ear and reinforced his passion for vinyl and analog production, shaping a sound that is playful, surprising, and emotionally resonant while rooted in house and techno traditions.

In 2019, Skancke launched Quirk, his record label and event series, which has quickly become a platform for bold, forward-thinking club music. A resident at Hoppetosse, he has also played at Berghain / Panorama Bar and Robert Johnson, steadily building a reputation as one of the underground’s most compelling and forward-looking artists.
