A Mad Tea Party by Ioanna Pantazopoulou hangs from the ceiling of BAM Harvey Theater.
A full upside-down tea party hangs from the ceiling of BAM Harvey Theater, straight out of a deranged version of Alice in Wonderland.
In the context of the Onassis Foundation USA "Speaking Truth to Power" Festival, Ioanna Pantazopoulou has created an imposing installation from a variety of everyday practical objects. Cups and stainless steel saucers, colorful dusters and crystals placed under a fake palm tree explore in a whimsical way our relationship to materialistic consumption. A.M.T.P or A Mad Tea Party in Brooklyn.
Exhibition is on view until 6 January 2019.
