Transnational Music Lab (TMLAB)
The Transnational Music Lab (TMLAB) is a European project funded by the EU “Creative Europe” program, supporting, connecting, and empowering the music communities of tomorrow. Coordinated by STEGI.RADIO, TMLAB brings together artists and curators from underrepresented communities, creating spaces for expression, visibility, and exchange. From Athens to Brussels, Turin, Madrid, and Lyon, the project promotes equal access and participation in the music industry, building bridges among emerging creative voices across Europe.
Through residencies, curated events, radio shows, and live performances, TMLAB serves as a field for artistic experimentation and cultural exchange. Its goal is to provide space for artists and music professionals to reclaim their narratives and challenge the historical structures that have shaped the music landscape to date.
TMLAB gives voice to artists and communities, fostering diversity, inclusion, and cross-cultural dialogue. In collaboration with leading cultural organizations—C2C Festival in Italy, Kiosk Radio in Belgium, Arty Farty in France, and La Casa Encendida in Spain—the project builds a vibrant network that redefines Europe’s music scenes. It also reaches out to a young generation of listeners eager to discover new sounds, diverse voices, and bold new ways of making and experiencing music.
