The first workshop focusing on Anti-Bullying took place at the Onassis Stegi on Saturday, December 14, moderated by Christina Maria Rassidaki, mental health counselor, psychotherapist, parents and teachers’ counselor, and Dr. Margarita Gerouki (University of Helsinki), teacher in primary education, former education adviser; a second workshop on the same subject was held on Saturday, December 21.
In these first workshops, the teenage athletes got in contact with their mentors who, through imaginative activities, helped them discover ways to feel good in their own bodies and provided them with tools and techniques to tackle the phenomenon that hurts and alienates them, bullying.

After the workshops came the training sessions; the first one was held at the Lycée Léonin, in Ano Patisia, due to rain, which will happen in any case of bad weather. The second training session was held at the basketball courts of Labrini and Ambelokipi, as planned.
It is worth mentioning that all three workshops that will take place throughout the first year aim at the development of the personality and social skills of every athlete. Because the AntetokounBros Academy is a unique academy that exceeds the limits of basketball and seeks to build right characters, apart from offering hope and joy to underprivileged children.
The program is implemented at the courts of Labrini and Ambelokipi, with the support of the City of Athens Culture, Sport & Youth Organization (OPANDA).
