Throughout a day filled with presentations, workshops, and hands-on activities, teachers from the Onassis Public Schools across Greece had the opportunity to learn about innovative practices and explore new ways to integrate technology into the classroom.

The first DigiLab was designed as a laboratory of ideas focused on technology, innovation, and 21st-century skills. Through thematic presentations and interactive workshops, participants engaged with applications of artificial intelligence in education, educational robotics, audio storytelling, and podcasting, as well as key contemporary issues such as the circular economy. At the same time, they explored practices that foster creativity, critical thinking, and entrepreneurship within the school environment.

Particular emphasis was placed on both the opportunities and the challenges that emerging technologies present for contemporary education, while participants exchanged experiences and ideas on designing groups, activities, and learning experiences for the upcoming school year.

The “Digilabs” program is an initiative of the Onassis Foundation for the Onassis Public Schools.
