The Birds (οr how to be one) is off to your screens through the online 22nd Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival
For everyone who didn't get to fly virtually with the "Birds (or how to be one)" through the Onassis Foundation YouTube channel, will have the opportunity to enjoy the documentary through the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival website.
After its world premier at International Film Festival Rotterdam - IFFR and its virtual premier at Onassis Foundation YouTube channel "The Birds (or how to be one)" fly off to Thessaloniki. The film by Babis Makridis and 77 other documentaries will be presented at the 22nd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival. For the flight and and the fall, the human need to fly, the fear of height, the utopia, Gods and human.
The 22nd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival returns online and presents 210 documentaries from all over the world. From Tuesday 19th until Thursday 28th of May, 400 viewers from Greece will be able to watch each documentary through the festival's website.
Until today, the movie has also, been part of Work in Progress by Les Arc Festival in France, while its premier was in Rotterdam earlier this year. In January 2020 it was presented at Santiago a Mil Festival in Chile, together with the updated edition of "The Birds" performance by Nikos Karathanos.
