Open discussions for all turn into a podcast series for those who are curious about the world around them. Unexpected encounters on the Main Stage of Stegi. This is the first podcast series by Talks & Thoughts.

From 2010 to this day, Stegi has been acting as a meeting point for the local and international academic and artistic community; the Talks & Thoughts project has hosted in Athens hundreds of major figures in culture and the arts from around the world. Public discussions, international symposia, conferences, as well as concurrent visual, music, cinema, and educational events, examine in interdisciplinary ways critical issues that concern society, science, art, and theory in the modern world, encouraging the production of new knowledge and public dialogue.

Onassis Encounters

Stegi turns some of the most significant Onassis Encounters into podcasts. Unexpected encounters that took place in the building of Stegi take a different digital form, in yet another digital medium. Discussions with world-known figures that have left their imprint on culture through their activities in literature, cinema, art, and science. Guerrilla Girls, Pussy Riot, Werner Herzog, Jo Nesbo, Daniel Mendelsohn, George Pelecanos, Marjane Satrapi, Hanya Yanagihara, Mona Eltahawy, Marina Abramovic, Paul Auster, Don DeLillo, Jonathan Coe, Yasmina Reza, Constantinos Daskalakis, and Kenneth Goldsmith, among others, have appeared on the stage of Stegi, presenting to the Greek audience their unconventional ideas and important works.
