Athens Home For All
The citizens of Athens embraced all the colors, and fly flags without fear. The message of the campaign “Athens Home For All”, launched in 2020, was being shared throughout the city so that we could all feel safe being ourselves. Onassis Stegi was calling on all Athenians with business premises to take part in this campaign by placing an “Athens Home For All” sticker in their window.
A huge thank you to everyone making Athens a city filled with pride.

The “Athens Home For All” initiative launched in September 2020 to share an important message of inclusivity and acceptance across the city of Athens. This drive was warmly embraced by everyone, with the campaign video enjoying more than one million views in just a few hours. Onassis Stegi joined forces with Technopolis City of Athens, Google, and Athens Pride once more in 2021, and invited Athenians to fill our city with the colors that make people human.
You. And you. All of you. Thank you for making me your city. Your Athens.
Cultural organizations, pharmacies, taxis, cafés, bars, florists, auto repair shops, clothes stores, hair salons, and hotels in every neighborhood across Athens are prominently displaying the “Athens Home For All” sticker in order to share a message of acceptance and inclusion. In the campaign video, Athens – voiced by Maria Nafpliotou – sent out a message of thanks to every business that has given Pride’s characteristic flag pride of place in its window: a small gesture that nevertheless means so much in a city that laid the foundations for democracy as both a political system and a way of life. Here, in Athens, every person – no matter their color, creed, nationality, age, sexual orientation, weight, or political beliefs – can live together, coexisting with everyone else.
