Description
The earth dries and cracks in two. In which land will we be buried if the dead rise to the surface?
A group of young girls revives the ancient ritual of bull-leaping, whispering to the earth: “We are here, and we hear you.” “Tectonic Riders” is a mystical act of defiance and renewal, bridging a fractured past with an uncertain future.
Rather than viewing climate change solely as an environmental catastrophe, the work frames it as a deep rupture in our connection with history and nature. In response to this upheaval, a new generation emerges—seeking their own light in the darkness, reclaiming a bond with the land, and rewriting the narrative of resilience.
But after all that, do they have the right tools to truly restore what has been lost?
