Meditation on Time

If time is merely a social construct, then antiquity is yet to come, and the future has already arrived. We do not belong to our memories, nor our potential. Who is to say what the reality one experiences is founded on? Through this installation, the artist aims to create a monument to contemporary life, quintessentially Greek yet universal. A classic Datsun truck, crystallized yet unbound in time, is gilded to reflect its newfound divinity, suspended between relic and prophecy. The frequency of gold pulses through space. Echoes of sacred chants stretch into abstraction, the sound of wind distorted beyond recognition. The piece does not exist within time; it bends time around it. The everyday is sanctified, through this meditation practice, creating a new space for reflection. The ephemeral and eternal merge into an experience beyond chronology. The question is not where, but when.
