Alexia Mouza

Sixteen-year-old scholar Alexia Mouza stood out at the International Competition for Piano and Orchestra in Cantu, Italy as the winner of the second prize in the ‘classical concert’ section. More than forty participants came from all around the world.

This year, the section of classical concert did not award a first prize. As part of the concerts given by the winners of the two sections of the Competition (classical and romantic concert), Alexia Mouza gave two performances, accompanied by L’ Orchestra Filarmonica ‘Mihail Jora’ di Bacau and conducted by Ovidiu Balan; one at Salla Verdi in Milan and one at Teatro Sociale in Como, performing the Mozart’s ‘Concerto for piano and orchestra K. 466 D minor.

Alexia Mouza is a scholar of the Onassis Foundation (2001-2003) and continues her studies at the Imola International Piano Academy.
