Konstantinos Sergakis was recently appointed as Asst. Professor of Commercial Law at Glasgow University’s Law School and will take up his post in early September 2015. He began his academic career at the Université Paris Ouest Nanterre la Défense and continued at the University of Bedfordshire, where he directed the postgraduate course in International Commercial Law. In 2013 he was appointed as lecturer at the University of Bristol Law School where he also worked as deputy director of the postgraduate course.

His research interests focus on company law, European stock exchange law and corporate governance. He has attended various international conferences and published widely in English and French in internationally respected journals. Konstantinos Sergakis holds a law degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an LL.M. in international business law from University College London and a Ph.D. from the Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Paris 1). He completed his postgraduate and doctoral studies with a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation.
