Friends of the Onassis Cultural Centre: A new institution

After the completion of its first, remarkably successful, year of operation, a new institution is inaugurated at the Onassis Cultural Centre: the Friends of the Cultural Centre. Everyone can become a Friend of the Cultural Centre just by purchasing four tickets of their choice at the privileged price of €50 each, without any further subscription.

The Friend of the Cultural Centre membership card offers its holders 10%-30% ticket discounts at the Centre and discounts at collaborating companies, such as bookstores, stores and restaurants. It also allows them to purchase tickets up to one week before they are made available to the general public and offers more privileges such as private tours backstage, attendance at rehearsals, meetings with artists etc. In addition, each card holder will have the opportunity to participate in trips and special events organized only for the Friends of the Cultural Centre.

Card holders will gather points from every purchase they make – one point per every euro – and they will be able to exchange 100 points, once gathered, for a free ticket for any performance of their choice during the current artistic season.

Children and teenagers aged 4-18 become Friends of the Cultural Centre, too, through the subscription of a parent. Companies can also subscribe and offer their employees special privileges, and so can schools in the context of their school visits and educational programmes.

Anyone interested can become a Friend of the Cultural Centre either by filling in the respective subscription form at or by calling the Friends of the Cultural Centre Line (2130-178200) or simply by visiting the ticket offices of the Cultural Centre (107 Syngrou Avenue) opposite Panteion University.
