Aggeliki Kathariou

During the autumn 2008-summer 2009 art season, Aggeliki Kathariou represented Greece in the International Festival Rencontres Musicales de la Méditerranée in Bastia, Corsica, where she worked as a soloist with the Camerata in the world first performance of Dimitris Terzakis’ Über Plato.

She also participated in Jeanne D’Arc rock oratorio of Belissario Capocci in Athens Concert Hall. In March 2009, she appeared in the “200 Years of Greek Lyric Song” concert series of the Athens State Orchestra in the Byzantine Museum, and participated, with the Orchestra of Colours, in the production of Thais opera at the Athens Concert Hall, in the role of Myrtali.

She also joined Mina Polyhronou, Christos Papayeoryiou and the Ferruccio Busoni Orchestra, under conductor Massimo Belli, in Museo Revoltella of Trieste. Later, she performed in a series of concerts with Camerata and joined the New Hellenic Quartet in Samos ancient Pythagorean Musical Theatre.
